My name is Heather, and I wear many hats that I am incredibly proud of—wife, mom, stepmom, volunteer firefighter, full-time credit union employee, and the owner of The Kookie Krumbles.

I’ve been married to my husband for 12 wonderful years, and together we’re raising three amazing boys. Jason is 19 and proudly serves in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Although he’s my stepson, I’ve had the privilege of raising him since he was six years old, and he has always been my son in every way that matters. Russell is 13 and lives with his mom and have the joy of having every other weekend and our youngest, Benjamin, is 8 and brings so much joy and laughter into our lives. My family is my greatest blessing and my biggest source of support.

 

When I’m not decorating cookies, I work full-time at MCT Federal Credit Union, where I’ve built a career that I truly love. I started as a teller in 2005, was promoted to Member Service Specialist in 2019, and in January 2026 I also became Head Teller. This August, I’ll celebrate 21 years with MCT. I absolutely love my job, our members, and the wonderful people I have the privilege of working with every day.

I’m also proud to have served as a volunteer firefighter for nearly 17 years. Helping others and serving my community has always been an important part of who I am.

 

My cookie journey began in 2023 when I took a cookie decorating class just for fun. I never imagined that one class would change my life. In February 2024, The Kookie Krumbles officially came to life. What started as a hobby has grown into something I never thought possible, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

When I look back at where I started and compare it to where I am today, I’m amazed at how far I’ve come. Every cookie I make is created with love, patience, and attention to detail. I truly pour my heart and soul into every order because I genuinely love what I do. Being a small part of your birthdays, weddings, baby showers, holidays, and life’s special moments is such an honor.

None of this would be possible without the love and support of my family, friends, and every customer who has believed in me along the way.
